November 10, 2008

Salem, New Hampshire  November 9, 2008 – One of the 414 guests at the 23rd Anniversary party of Two Guys Smoke Shops on November 19 will win 10,000 gallons of gasoline from the New Hampshire-based smoke shop chain with stores in Salem, Nashua and Seabrook.

“For $200 per ticket – and we have just a few more available –  you get more than your money’s worth with  23 premium, handmade cigars, a five-course Italian feast, entertainment by the Rat Pack, raffles, cigar celebrities, plenty of prizes, surprises and fun plus the chance to win 10,000 gallons of gas,” said David Garofalo who founded Two Guys in 1985.  The party will be held at DiBurro’s Function Facility in Bradford, Massachusetts.

In addition, Two Guys is also giving away to all of its customers a free $10 gas card with every purchase of selected boxes of cigars.

“We’ve got 23 world famous brands participating throughout this year’s celebration,” he said.  Participating brands include Avo, Punch, Cusano, CAO, Heaven, Chateau Real, Oliveros, Camacho, Arganese, Cuvee, Ashton, Tabac Especiale, Excalibur, Rocky Patel, Padron, Defiance, Tabaccos Baez, Oliva, among others.  In addition to more prizes and surprises, guests will be able to visit with a broad array of cigar celebrities including Avo Uvezian, Jorge Padron, Michael and Joe Cusano, Gene Arganese, the Heaven Angels and more.

Cigar Familiy Charitable Auction

August 5, 2008

In 2001, the Fuente and Newman families and their Cigar Family members established CFCF.  The foundation has created a 23-acre project, which is home to primary and high schools that educate 490 students, a medical and dental clinic, a community center, sports and recreation facilities, and an organic farm and fishery.  Because the Fuente and Newman families underwrite all of CFCF’s administrative costs, 100% of all donations directly help those in need.

Cigar News and Lottery!

August 2, 2008

As my regular readers know a few weeks back I was invited into the Altadis VIP program which has a few perks. These include merchandise, swag, and a newsletter…

One of the things listed in the newsletter was the addition of new cigars to the Altadis family. These cigars include:

  • Mi Dominicana by Jose Seijas: an exquisitely constructed, full-bodied Dominican Puro.
  • Montecristo Reserve Negra: a deliciously robust maduro worthy of the Montecristo name.
  • A. Turrent Six Generations: perhaps the finest cigar from the industry;s oldest cigar makers made with hand selected tobaccos aged for seven years.
  • Romeo Y Julieta Museum Edition: available in a limited edition of 2000 humidors each featuring 36 super premium cigars and a signed and numbered serigraph from renowned 3-D artist Charles Fazzino.

All cigar information reprinted from Altadis Cigar News August 2008 Volume 1 Issue 3

Also sent to me from Altadis USA was a couple of baseball caps from Montecristo one of which will be sent to a randomly selected reader of my blog. To enter please send an email to me, the address is listed under the contact section of my web page. In the subject line place, “I want the hat” and your shipping address in the body of the email.
